Ingredients
– 250 grams butter1
– 825 grams flour
– 200 milliliters milk2
– 1 egg
1. Rub the butter into flour3
2. Slowly add milk and stir
3. Knead dough
4. Add flour until dough no longer sticks to your hands
5. Roll out dough thinly and cut into circles
6. Place a small amount of filling4 on each circle and pinch closed
7. Lay out on a lightly oiled cookie sheet
8. Beat one egg
9. Brush the tops of each pirozhok with the beaten egg
10. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes

1Butter can be substituted with 2/3 cup of vegetable oil
2Milk can be substituted with 200 grams of sour cream
