Teiglach (Anya’s recipe)

Ingredients
– 6 eggs
– Flour
– Vegetable oil
– 400 milliliters honey
– 1/2 cup sugar
– Poppy seeds
– Nuts

1. Combine eggs and flour and mix into a dough
2. Cut dough into small cubes
3. Fry dough cubes in a skillet until golden brown
4. Combine honey and sugar in a pot on low heat
5. Add poppy seeds and nuts (optional)
6. Add the fried dough cubes to the saucepan
7. Continue to heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, for 20-25 minutes (until mixture is a light brown color)
8. Spoon onto a sheet of wax paper in one layer and cut to desired size
9. Allow to cool and harden
